this isnt the best picture of this painting….its now hanging in my parents house. but I had a picture of it on my website at sarahfris.com. Anyway I received an email on my website today that made me feel that taking this art path is worthwhile.
It was titled “On Magnificence and your Art”
I stumbled upon your website out of sheer luck and am utterly compelled to write you. Your work is exquisite and nothing like I have ever seen before. The use of subdued colors is refreshing in a world where boldness has become the norm. Those in art and advertising escalate their overly vibrant shouting match, currently defined so stringently by orange lines.
You appear to have stood back and quietly expressed yourself beyond this, in an accurate complexity of morphing parallels and curvatures. Characteristics common of human nature, but typically not allowed to coexist in the same frame this day and age.
I am extremely happy to have found your work today. It has brought substance to an otherwise uneventful Parisian eve. I only wish I could get the full effect in person. Either way, thank you for sharing.
Je vous envoie mes bien amicales pensées,
I don’t know who this mysterious person is, whether it is a close friend pranking me….it certainly made my day. I’m not much of a romantic and I often question if I am taking the right road, and encouragement like this makes me fall in love with creating all over again.
